This page takes a closer loom at the requirements for software support and what some suppliers have to offer.

For this analysis the four Stages of interest are :-

The process can be summarised in the following terms :-

Step 1. Identify the Data Sources

Step 2. Identify the Data Targets. This will usually involve simply one Generic Target Data Model.

Step 3. Define the validation, clean-up and transformation from Data Sources to Data Targets.
